TRUST International Group, a defence trading specialist and major supplier of premium solutions to the UAE Armed Forces and security establishments, has been acquired by EDGE Group. TRUST will become part of EDGE’s Trading and Mission Support cluster, complementing the Group’s existing multi-domain capabilities. Founded in 2004, TRUST is a supplier of military equipment and supplies to the UAE armed forces, providing capability assessments, requirement identification, acquisition support, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, and partnering with international firms.

With Trust International acquisition, Edge strengthens defence and technology portfolios

TRUST provides high-tech solutions to its customers, as well as logistics and supply chain services for land, aerial and maritime systems, C4ISR, unmanned systems, and tactical equipment to military and security agencies. Together, the two companies will be able to share manufacturing techniques and expertise, as well as expand TRUST’s talent pool and capabilities for further international expansion. Creating a national champion with global reach through strategic defence sector consolidation is yet another good example of sensible consolidation.
