Official figures from the tourism authority of Barbados have revealed a substantial 32 percent increase in the number of travelers from the GCC region during 2023, compared to the previous year.

Recent data on passenger arrivals further underscore this trend, showing a significant rise in travel to Barbados from key GCC nations, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. This surge in tourists from these countries highlights the increasing popularity of Barbados as a sought-after travel destination in the Gulf region.
As part of the collaboration, Visit Barbados has exclusively designated dnata Representation Services, headquartered in Dubai, as its dedicated sales, marketing, and PR representative for the GCC region. This strategic partnership aims to provide travelers in the GCC with up-to-date information, exclusive rates, customized itineraries, and a comprehensive understanding of Barbados’ rich diversity.
